In 2000, I participated in a short-lived online rewards program and occasionally received a free Yankee candle for my efforts there. It didn't take long for the addiction to set in, and I was burning through candles constantly. Then of course the program ceased; no more free candles. Though Yankee's candles are nice, I decided to try making my own. I learned that instead of making something comparable to what I had before, I could do even better with soy wax. No more smoking candles, no limits to my fragrance selection, and a fun new hobby too. When I sent out my own candles as holiday gifts, they attracted enough attention to encourage me to sell my candles. I hope you enjoy the site, and perhaps a soy candle!
